Welcome to Leadership Wyoming

Leadership Wyoming is a program for a diverse group of approximately 45 Wyoming leaders to participate in a challenging, interactive and thought-provoking 9-month educational program.

Formed in 1999, Leadership Wyoming is a partnership of the
Wyoming Heritage Foundation and the University of Wyoming.  With its first class starting in 2000 and graduating in 2001, we are proud to now have 758 current graduates, with a new class starting in August 2018.  Leadership Wyoming members are a close-knit network that believe in the future of our state.  Members include such leaders as Former Governor Matt Mead, Former First Lady and Federal Judge Nancy Freudenthal, United States Senator John Barrasso, Adjutant General Luke Reiner and fourteen legislators of this great state.

If you are interested in more information regarding this one-of-a-kind program, please complete the form on the "Contact Us" web page.

Our Mission

To provide leaders who are committed to excellence and progress in Wyoming the opportunity to better understand general public policy issues, economic and social diversity and the challenges facing our state; and to prepare them, through shared mutual interests and the leadership skills developed, to be active in building a better Wyoming.
